Hi,

We have 1C infobase on PostgreSQL (1C patched pack). Db size now 400Gb. For user works we need to configure postgres settings.

Is it available for 1C:Enterprise Platform 8.3 to configure PostgreSQL settings according to resource consumption ( http://www.postgresql.org/docs/9.4/static/runtime-config-resource.html ) ???

According to work logic of platform we think it is available to configure PostgreSQL. We asked it to be able.

Hello Murat,

Could you, please, describe the status of your system in more details? Please, answer all of the questions below:

1. How exactly have you calculated the infobase size? Where did you see this 400 Gb?
2. Do users work with this PostgreSQL system now?
3. Do they experience any problems?
4. If yes, please, describe the problems.
5. If now, please, explain what prompted you to configure PostgeSQL? Why do you think it's necessary?

Dear Konstantin Rupasov,

Sorry for very very very late answer.

Try to answer your questions;

1. How exactly have you calculated the infobase size? Where did you see this 400 Gb?

In pgAdmin we can see db size. Please see on picture.

2. Do users work with this PostgreSQL system now?
Users do not work directly with postgres. They use 1C application (1C Complex Automation). As database storage for 1C we use PostgreSQL 9.3.4-1.1C(x64).

3. Do they experience any problems?
Sometimes reports can work slowly than usual. Indeed we wonder not analyze availability of configuring postgres in performance subjects.

5. If now, please, explain what prompted you to configure PostgeSQL? Why do you think it's necessary?
We want to use postgres at maximum performance.

In postgres there is server properties (shared_buffers, effective_cache_size, work_mem, maintenance_work_mem, max_wal_size, checkpoint_completion_target, wal_buffers etc.) that can effect server consumption. There is some sites ( http://pgtune.leopard.in.ua/ ) whitch recommend server configuration. But we do not know how platform uses postgres. So that we need some recomendations for postgresql server configuration, if you have.

Hello Murat,

Another question: could you please check the number of calls to the server on the bottom left corner of 1C application while opening the slow reports?

Thank you
