1C Company released a new version of 1C:Accounting Suite

1C Company released a new version of 1C:Accounting Suite (1.1.24.0), an accounting and inventory control application for small businesses.
The new functionality is based primarily on feedback of clients using the application.
These are the main new features:

  • Implementation of the IAS 21 standard "The effects of changes in foreign exchange rates". More detailed description of the currently implemented IFRS standards will be provided in a separate whitepaper
  • Individual G/L accounts for each VAT code and input and output VAT
  • added VAT calculation functionality when VAT is included in price
  • General Ledger renamed to General Journal. General Ledger is provided as a report
  • Included the Print subsystem of the 1C:Subsystems Library (1C:SL) to enable editing document print forms in the Enterprise mode
  • Included a function to import Items from an Excel file
  • Modified automatic transaction generation for Goods Receipts, Goods Issues, Purchase Invoices, and Sales Invoices to allow clearing posting of Purchase and Sales Invoices if they are based on Goods Receipts and Issues respectively

Additionally some new features in the application code make it easier and faster for 1C partners to modify the application code, and create vertical solutions for their clients and marketplaces.
