Cooperation agreement between 1C Company and AVTOVAZ: state-of-the-art information technologies increase efficiency

AVTOVAZ aims to produce new LADA models, increase manufacturing efficiency, improve car quality, strengthen LADA dealers, and increase export volumes. Modern information technologies are vital to achieving these goals. AVTOVAZ and 1C Company recently signed a master cooperation agreement aiming to develop the Russian company’s information management systems.

AVTOVAZ and its subsidiaries have been using 1C:Enterprise-based solutions since 2007: over 2000 workplaces are currently automated through the products and services 1C Company provides. To develop its information management systems, AVTOVAZ will be implementing 1C:ERP Enterprise Management 2.0 (an innovative solution for large and medium-sized businesses), the new solution 1C:Corporate Management (Corporate Performance Management, or CPM), the industry solution 1C:Autotransport Management, and other solutions based on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform. With the further development of its information management systems, AVTOVAZ plans to optimize cash management, budgeting, cost calculation, logistics, and warehousing.

AVTOVAZ is one of the largest car manufacturers in Europe. The current capacities of AVTOVAZ allow production of one million cars and car part kits under Renault, LADA, Nissan, and Datsun brands. Since 1970, the factory has produced more than 28 million LADA cars. AVTOVAZ produces mass-market passenger cars. LADA cars have also won the Grand Prix 2013 and 2014 of the Russian magazine Za rulyom in the category "Best car for non-metropolitan areas."
