Cooperation of Spedition Pape & Raiffeisen Moeln: complex docflow automation and planning

Spedition Pape and Raiffeisen Moeln operate in the mass transportation market of agricultural products and seed oil.

One of the operational characteristics is that companies have to obtain special certificates and comply with the health standards and requirements stipulated in the authorization document, as well as facilitating transportation of large quantities of products as fast as possible (within one season).

For a long time both companies have been planning their operations using MS Excel office software and handwriting graphics on A3 sheets. When the number of orders increased dramatically, this method became ineffective.

That is why the companies decided to jointly install the modern customizable and affordable Intertrans 8 system developed by Doll+Leiber GmbH in partnership with 1C-Rarus.

As a result of introducing the system more than 80% of the routine work was handled by Intertrans 8, thus eliminating human error.

Carriage planning and real-time tracking during the periods of greatest work load use the telematics system.

The telematics system serves as a means of communication between truck drivers and the central office, as well as a tool for providing online information about the cargoes.

Automation of routine operations and monitoring of freight movement cut the administration workload at the central office by more than one third.
