Our clients decide to migrate from their *nix system to CentOS 7

In the Centos 7 and of course in the RHEL7 the default httpd package is httpd.x86_64 2.4, for use Apache 2.2 the infrastructure engineer need to build from source Apache and others libs depends on it.

That's why i want to ask - is there any plans to add WS adapter for apache24 in the 1C:Enterprise Platform?

P.S. The stable release of Apache 2.4 was distributed in the 2012 and now in the 2014 the stable package 2.4.10 (released 2014-07-21). Apache 2.2 does not contains any changes from 18.01.2014, and seems like there is no new feature in 2.2 except bug or security fix.

P.S.S. In some test (for example on MPM events) Apache2.4 faster when the Apache2.2 in two or three times.

Is there any chance for 2.4 support? We are also updating our servers and having old apache server makes the process almost impossible.

I think, that later Apache 2.4 will be supported. Currently Apache 2.0 and 2.2 are supported.

In centos7, debian 8 default apache 2.4

Use centos 7 with docker images centos 6.5.

1C 8.3.8 supports Apache 2.4! We currently successfully use it on Ubuntu 14.04 64-bit.
