Dear all,

I would like to know what programming platforms are the most compatible with 1C:Enterprise? I would like to develop a webshop based on 1C as the ERP-system. But, I am not sure what platform to use.

In addition, what about IBM WebSphere as the programming platform and Java as the programming language? Would this be a good combination with 1C?

For both questions, are there any best practices?

I am looking forward to your reactions – every reaction is more than welcome.

Thanks in advance.

Niklas B,

I think there is no such thing like 'the most compatible' programming language with 1C.
Question is here - what is the most easiest way to build an integration.
Platform supports many different methods to access 1C data from outside.
It could be synchronous and asynchronous integration.
For example, you can use:
1) OData protocol, web-services, HTTP-services - the most recommended way to build an integration with web apps.
2) 1C COM-object
3) txt, xml, dbf files exchange - only asynchronous exchange.

On the other side, majority programming languages and platforms support these methods of data exchange.
So you may choose almost any technology.
I recommend to take the  platform that you are most comfortable working with.
