Getting started

To open EDT, run the file 1сedt.exe from the 1C:Development tools installation directory.

At startup, EDT prompts you to specify the workspace directory. You can select the Use this as the default and do not ask again check box to use this directory every time you start EDT. To change a workspace, on the File menu, click Switch Workspace.

Once the loading of EDT and its workspace is completed, EDT opens the 1C:Enterprise perspective.
