Searching for configuration objects

To search for a metadata object, use one of the following:

  1. The search field in the 1C:Enterprise Navigator view.
  2. The Open Metadata Object dialog box.

You can search by full object names or their parts. The search returns the objects whose names begin with the search string. The order of items in the search string matters. The search is only performed in object names. You can use the following wildcard characters: ? stands for any one character, * stands for any number of any characters. If you do not remember a part of a metadata object name, replace this part with *.
