Google Chrome setup

Before you run the web client in Google Chrome, you have to configure its settings. This procedure describes the setup for Google Chrome version 39, the details may vary depending on your Google Chrome version.  

  1. Click the Customize and control Google Chrome button in the top right corner of the browser window, and then click Settings.
  2. Click Show advanced settings.
  3. Under Privacy, click Content settings.
  4. In the Content settings window, do the following:
    • Select the Allow local data to be set (recommended) check box or specify the list of exceptions.
    • Select the Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended) check box or specify the list of exceptions.
    • Select the Allow all sites to show pop-ups check box or specify the list of exceptions. If the interface mode is Forms in tabs or Taxi and the applied solution does not use modal windows, you can skip this.

We recommend that you change the file download settings.

  1. Click the Customize and control Google Chrome button in the top right corner of the browser window, and then click Settings.
  2. Click Show advanced settings.
  3. Scroll down to the Downloads section and select the Ask where to save each file before downloading check box.
