Hi,

how can I fix the widths of all input fields in a document form so that all of them have the same width irrespective of their type, string, number, or date. I want to enhance the presentation of the form so that all input fields have identical width. Which property or attribute I should set so that these input boxes end with same width. find attached a picture of my current form. as you can see with the red arrows, the starts and ends of input fields are different and it makes the form look not very nice.

thanking you,
Mubarak

Hi.
Please write what version of 1C:Enterprise you are using and compatibility mode of configuration.
Since version 8.3.7 1C:Enterprise start using new algorithm for automatic arrangement of managed form items.
So there are different ways to make your form better, depends on platform version.

Hi, Mubarak.
This is all, what I could find about new algorithm in English, row 4.

If you want to make items wider, try this
Width: 0
HorizontalStretch: Yes
In some cases unchecking property AutoMaxWidth can be helpful.

If this wouldn't help, ask more, there are a lot of tip how to arrange items on a form.

Hi Mubarak,

can you give me your form to have a look at it?

You may just copy it from your configuration tree into an external report or data processor file ad upload this file somewhere. References will be lost this this way but it'll do I tink.
