How can I force the user to enter a value for an input field in a form. For example, if I have a customer field in sales order document, how can I state and force the user to enter value for customer field, otherwise, a validation should prevent the form from saving until the value is set for this field?

Hello. The simplest way for do this is "Fill check" property on "Presentation" page of attribute. You need set property to "Display error" value.

Also try properties "AutoMarkIncomplete" and "InputHint" of an input field in a form.
