Hello,

I'm developing a windows application and the database already contains a large amount of data.

The work was going fine until a few days ago, when there was a power outage. After that, the application stopped importing data and it said the database file was corrupted.

What is the cause ?
How can I solve it ?

Version used: 8.3.7.1790

Please help me fix it

Thank you!

Hello,

do I understand correctly that you have a file database?

Do you have copies of your database?

I'll take a look today and try to help you.

For the future: using the 1C file mode is not very recommended... Especially if the database size is large...

The 1C company offers a "Mini-server" for such cases with licenses for 5 workstations. I recommend that you switch to this mode of operation.

The 1C file mode is rather an artifact of the past.

I would like to note that we managed to solve this problem and restore the data.

One surviving data backup was of great help to us. Although it was old, it contained the table that was destroyed in the database.

In this regard, I would like to remind you once again - be sure to make backups of your data! :-)
