Hello,

can't figure out where the problem is with email sending. When trying to send it I get an error:

"Error calling context method (Подключиться): Can not authenticate to POP3 server: Authentication failed."

also, when i enter IMAP account settings, which work in outlook, i get error

"Error calling context method (Подключиться): POP3 connection broken in response
"
although in outlook and other clients same account same settings works fine.

need a litle guidance on tracking where the problems are. Thank You

Could not reproduce that error again, so lets just leave it at that i think.

Back to beginning >  inability to receive emails probably makes sending don't work also, as it seems like that receiving and sending is one joined action.

Is there a way to turn off receiving, leave sending working, but without changing code?

Hello, Ged Last.

I have just tested the example that I suggested to you using my gmail account. This example sent an email without receiving them.

If you do not specify IMAP or POP3 server settings, the InternetMail.Logon() method does not attempt to connect for receiving emails.
