Hello,

I m little bit confused with way how full text search working.

Platform version is 8.3.7.1805.
Compatibility mode is "Not use".
Full text index was fully cleared and updated again.

In a list of documents i have 3 documents with numbers: 2 with FB00-000041 (but different years), and 1 with FBDD-000041.

When I'm trying to use default platform full-text search field for dynamic lists i cannot understand how its working because:

- When I'm typing 000041 - it shows me all 3 documents (screenshot 1).
- When I'm typing 41 - it shows me only 1 document (screenshot 2).
- When i'm typing 041 - it shows me a blank list (screenshot 3).

Could you clarify to me how its working?

Thanks

Hello, Pavel!

Try to rebuild the full-text search index and repeat after that.

If the problem will stay, please send the database dump for us to reproduce the issue. If you will need an FTP access to send us a large file, we will provide it. To make it confidential, send us an email to int@1c.com.

Hello,

I have tried to create a simple configuration, create same numbers of documents, rebuild full-text search index.

And in this example when i'm typing 41 the result is blank. Only if I'm typing 000041 - then i have results.

Really don't understand how its work. Usual user of system just want to put number of document (without leading zeros and prefixes) to find what he need. And he will not get a correct result. Its confused.

In attachment you could find this sample of simple configuration.

Thanks

Timofey Bugaevsky,
Do you have the issue number from bugboard? Its the simplest way for tracking.

Thanks

Hello everyone!
I also have some issues at Full Text Search mechanism. It may be the same issue that Pavel has described, but I’m not sure and want to share.
Full text search is used at catalog of nomenclatures; available columns are Code and Description (we have about 85.000 items). Full text search couldn’t find some items (it does not matter if we write code or description fully or partially, or even if copy/pasting code of item).
Platform version 8.3.5.1248 (language of platform is Turkish, I will try the same action at Russian platform soon)
Client-server mode
Windows server 2008
And also want to ask a question about full text search, for example, does it search the symbols as “.”, “,”, “-“, “_”, “*”, “?”, “!”, “%”, “+”, “/”, “(“, “;”, “]”…

Thanks!

Hello, Stanislav!

Could you please try to search on 1C:Enterprise 8.3.7.1917 which is most current as for now? There were some fixes in that mechanism.

You also can use additional search by column which can be called using Alt+F keyboard shortcut.

Thank you, Timofey! I'll try that version of platform today.

I have one more question, how about serching such symbols as “.”, “,”, “-“, “_”, “*”, “?”, “!”, “%”, “+”, “/”, “(“, “;”, “]” ? Does Full Text Serch mechanism searches them?

Stanislav,

There is a query language for full-text search, so some characters might be found only with the right query. You can find more details in the Query language for full-text search in the help article of 1C:Enterprise platform help.
