Established in 2013, Navek manufactures archery equipment and other specialized sporting goods, with a focus on customized, small-batch production. Its professional sports customers require equipment made to demanding standards, and Navek is an official supplier to the Turkish national Olympic team.

Founded by former national archers, Navek has expanded into manufacturing and distribution across more than 35 sports disciplines. Its production facility in Düzce, Türkiye, covers 12,000 m². International offices and a warehouse in Hungary support its wider supply network.

As Navek grew, management needed a clearer view of what was happening across shipments, warehouse stock and procurement. Experience remained valuable, but it could no longer provide all the information needed to plan a more complex business.

Customized production added another layer of difficulty. Teams needed to follow work through multiple stages, understand its actual cost and connect production decisions to customer requirements. Larger tenders and export ambitions increased the importance of reliable planning. Production could involve painting, polishing and subcontracted work, while stock planning had to account for manufactured, imported and outsourced products.

The business therefore needed an enterprise resource planning system that could connect manufacturing and commercial operations while supporting Turkish accounting practices. The objective was to make daily activity visible and use that information to guide the next order, purchase and production plan.

Navek worked with 1C and local implementation partner iQM Technology to introduce 1C:ERP World Edition. The 12-month project brought the following areas into scope:

  •    Procurement and sales, linking purchasing activity with customer demand.

  •    Warehouse management, making inventory and shipment processes easier to track.

  •    Production planning and accounting, with structured monitoring of manufacturing stages.

  •    Management costing, giving the business visibility into actual production costs.

  •    Treasury management and financial accounting, adapted to local business requirements.

  •    Mobile access, enabling managers to work with orders and operational information while away from the office.

The project scale was 30 internal users and up to 100 external users. This scope brought the operational and financial functions needed by a growing manufacturer into one ERP environment.

The implementation included handling for promissory notes and checks, withholding VAT, and electronic invoicing. The team also extended financial accounting functionality to reflect local business practices.

These adaptations were central to making the solution usable in Türkiye. They connected the manufacturing project with the payment instruments, invoicing processes and accounting workflows the business needed every day.

Navek executives regularly travel to competitions, tournaments and exhibitions. The 1C mobile application lets them enter orders remotely and access current business information without returning to the office. This supports continuity when the management team is meeting customers or attending sports events.

“If we cannot control something, it is not acceptable for us. ERP gives us control and visibility at every point.”

Navek management

The implementation gave Navek a more structured way to manage daily activity and plan ahead. Navek reports the following business benefits:

  • Clearer operational control. Shipments, stock and procurement became easier to monitor as connected business processes.

  • Better visibility into production costs. Structured tracking of manufacturing stages supported cost calculation, resource planning and management decisions.

  • Planning based on operational data. Management gained a stronger basis for forecasting and moved beyond decisions driven mainly by intuition.

  • End-to-end e-commerce automation. Electronic commerce processes were integrated and automated within the wider operational setup.

  • A stronger foundation for international expansion. More transparent processes and centralized information improved the company’s readiness to serve additional markets.

For Navek, the value of the project lies in being able to connect what is happening in the business with what management needs to decide next. Production tracking, commercial processes and financial information now support a more coordinated approach to growth.

The project established a reference implementation for 1C:ERP World Edition in Türkiye. Further work is planned to deepen financial accounting localization. Navek also plans continued investment in research and development to support its sports equipment business.
