Dear All,

We have 1C version 8.2 and it has been hosted inside a Windows Server. We are trying to build an ERP platform on top of it.

We are facing a serious problem; when we are try to access the ERP via network; the users are unable to see the latest version of the changes. It is becoming an epidemic now...

Our IT Team is having to run around and trying to fix the same by re-installing; which I believe is completely wrong.

Are we missing out on something? Please help.

Regards,
N

Hello, Nilanjan Mitra!

Which changes your users can't see?

Did you create a website that requests data from 1C:Enterprise infobase using web services and they see obsolete data on the site? In that case check cache on your website and proxy.

Few points listed below.

1. We are using Desktop version of 1C 8.2. (NO WEB)
2. We are developing an ERP with the help of 1C IDE.
3. SQL Server is our Database.
4. We develop documents and business logic and merge with our Production base. We have several users accessing the production base VIA LAN for their daily work.
5. Currently we have observed based on USER feedback; the new releases are not getting visible to the users; though they are connected with Production base VIA LAN.
6. We are having to uninstall the Client and then re-install which is solving the problem but this is not a permanent solution we are looking for. There has to be some configuration which we are missing out.

Regards,
N

Do you use dynamic configuration update? This might be a reason that your users do not see changes on forms because they made some changes on that forms too. To see changes in this case they should reset the form settings.

For this, in More menu click Change form and in Customize form in More menu click Set standard settings.

You can also delete form settings for specific users using Clear application user settings tool available in 1C:Subsystems Library.

Hope, this helps.

Hi, Nilanjan Mitra.

I suggest to use modern version of the 1C:Enterprise platform (8.3.8 or 8.3.9) and you will forget about your problems. Your configuration will work it in the compatibility mode 8.2, so you will not need to make any changes in the configuration.
Also you can add parameter "ClearCache" if you work with dynamic updates.
