Real-time posting
Real-time posting means posting a document in real time, at the moment when a business event occurs. In the case of intensive multiuser work real-time posting requires performing checks to avoid collisions. For example, warehouse balance is usually checked during real-time posting in order to avoid selling the same item to multiple customers.
