1C:Enterprise Development Tools is an integrated new-generation environment for the development of 1C:Enterprise business applications. You can use 1C:Enterprise Development Tools alongside with 1C:Enterprise Designer. Applications developed with 1C:Enterprise Development Tools are fully compatible with the latest 1C:Enterprise versions. 1C:Enterprise Development Tools advantages are compliance with the latest demands and requirements, and rapid evolution and enhancement capabilities for the development environment.

Version 1.12 is an improvement of previous versions. Here we optimized some operations and made improvements in the built-in language editor, in the form editor and in the editor of configuration comparison and unification.

What’s new in 1C:Enterprise Development Tools 1.12:

  • Faster beginning of project editing after the configuration import

Now you can start editing configuration objects, imported in the project, earlier without waiting for the complete construction of all the dependent configuration elements. Besides, the editors' work has become more stable and more robust.

  • Faster changing of the functional option composition
We improved the operation of changing of the functional option composition. The operation now works almost twice as fast as previously.

  • Automatic placement of a single value offered by the context help

Now if the context help offers for placement the only one value, EDT substitutes it automatically, without user’s additional actions. The context help window will not display.

  • Displaying of possible fast correction options

If the configuration check detects some errors, EDT is able to fix them automatically. Previously, you could see the correction options by clicking the error icon in the built-in language editor. Now fast correction options will be displayed automatically when hovering a cursor over the trouble.

  • Editing of any files containing a text on the built-in language

Now you can open and edit not only those modules files that are located in the configuration projects structure but any other modules files that exist in the file system. Depending on a file location, the built-in language editor will try to build as complete as possible context for the module and will provide check and context help functionalities within the framework of the built context. You could not open and edit a “single” BSL-file in previous versions.

  • Form’s elements search

When editing a form you can search its elements by name. To do this press Ctrl+F, then enter a name or its part. What’s more, it is possible to execute any action with the found elements (e.g. to switch to the command processor). Back to the Form tab you will be able to continue the search from where you left off.

  • Only twice-changed objects displaying when merging in Git

There can appear some conflicts when you try to run Git-command Merge that are connected with changes in both main and second sources in relation to the common ancestor. To solve such conflicts EDT automatically opens the editor of configuration comparison and unification. Now this editor opens with set-in-advance filter Display only twice-changed, i. e. to show only conflicting changes.

  • Copying in the dialog of rights comparison

You can copy a text from the chosen cell in the editor of configuration comparison and unification. Now this functionality is added to the rights comparison dialog as well.

  • Three-sided configuration objects comparison

Now you can carry out a three-sided comparison of random configuration objects: the main object, the second object and their common ancestor. Previously, such a functionality was available only for the configuration project as a whole.

  • Saving of the last text comparison method

The program automatically applies the last used comparison strategy in the text comparison dialog. Previously, it did not memorize comparison methods.

  • Fast exclusion of results found by the full-text search from the refactoring

If you change any configuration objects (for example, rename them), EDT starts modules refactoring in order to substitute all occurrences of the renamed object. Some of these occurrences are defined by the types system construction mechanism – these are authentic occurrences to be substituted.

But the types system construction mechanism is not able to detect absolutely all the occurrences, some cases require human knowledge. A user must be acquainted with the peculiarities of a certain configuration development. So, refactoring employes the full-text search which finds all needed text fragments.

If the initial object identificator coincides with any built-in language feature or method (e.g. Period), the full-text search will find a great number of occurrences that are not needed. In order to quickly exclude such results from the refactoring, there are the commands in the dialog for removing and putting all flags for the results found by the full-text search.
