1C:Enterprise Development Tools 1.14.0.298 is available

1C:Enterprise Development Tools is an integrated new-generation environment for the development of 1C:Enterprise business applications. You can use 1C:EDT alongside with 1C:Enterprise Designer. Applications developed with 1C:EDT are fully compatible with the latest 1C:Enterprise versions. Its advantages are compliance with the latest demands and requirements, and rapid evolution and enhancement capabilities for the development environment.

Version 1.14 is improved previous version 1.13. Here we introduced some improvements in the usability of some operations and in the mechanism for configuration comparison/merge.

New features in 1C:Enterprise Development Tools 1.14:

• Information base creation during the execution of various operations

Now when choosing an information base, you can create a new one right in the Choice dialog. This functionality may be useful when you run a new project for the first time or when you link a project with information bases.

Previously, if an appropriate base was not registered on the computer, you needed to stop the operation, then create or connect the desired base and then execute the operation once again. But now you can do all this without any interruptions.

• Saving of uncommitted changes

If you have any uncommitted changes in the working directory, so when merging with other branch or when running the operation Cherry-Pick, EDT will firstly offer you to commit, hide or cancel current changes.

Such a dialog window was not displayed in previous versions.

• Commit message displaying during comparison

When you are comparing two commits in the editor of configuration comparison/merge, you will see not only commit’s identificator, but also its message.
