1C:Translator helps 1C developers to localize proprietary apps and docs in fast and efficient way

1C Company releases 1C:Translator, an automation application targeted at both translation companies and individuals. This application is intended for semiautomatic translation of 1C:Enterprise-based applications and their documentation. Developers of 1C applications with Russian interface and Russian source code can utilize 1C:Translator to fully localize their applications.

The translation process is simple and straightforward. It includes exporting the entire configuration into an XML file and importing it into 1C:Translator. Multiple developers can work simultaneously with 1C:Translator to translate application resources: modules, forms, data and documentation. Once localization is complete, the translated application resources can be exported back through an XML file.

1C:Translator supports several formats for its source texts: HTML, XML, and TXT. It can be used to translate any texts in this format, not just application resources.

To make the localization process faster, easy and simple, 1C:Translator uses powerful functionality: predefined dictionaries for translation, terminology control, translation memory, project management, version control, change highlighting, and others. 1C:Translator is integrated with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Translator.

To translate applications with 1C:Translator, you will need 1C:Enterprise platform version 8.3.2 or later because earlier platform versions have incompatible configuration file format.

1C:Translator is now available for download at the Downloads section. 1C:Translator, a free translation automation application, is distributed "as is". This program is distributed WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY and 1C Company provides support for this application at 1C:Developer Network forum. In order to use 1C:Translator, you have to own or acquire a 1C:Enterprise platform license.
