Domino Soft, an implementation center and a partner of 1C Company, automated Asia Pharma Ltd., the largest chain of pharmacy retail and wholesale centers in Mongolia.

1C:Trade Management solution, which is based on 1C:Enterprise, is deployed in the headquarters, wholesale warehouses, and retail stores. Thanks to careful supervision of goods delivery terms and strict control of procurement/bulk/retail pricing, Asia Pharma gained greater trust from their clients, resulting in doubled bulk sales volume. Automation of special rate sales reduces the budget recompense delay, therefore eliminating the risk of losses related to employee errors.

The implementation was performed within scheduled time and budget.

Bulk sales agreements now include the option to specify mandatory purchase volumes and check whether the partners fulfill these obligations. The sale period management system is implemented to facilitate sales plans. For example, the increase of sickness rate during the cold season is taken into account when planning purchases of anti-viral medications to fulfill the increasing demand and eliminate medication shortages. Planning by price and by quantity is available. Efforts for creating monthly plans for purchases and sales of medications are reduced, which benefits sales and the entire business.

Special rate sales for prescription medicines are automated and reports that comply with federal standards are generated. The risk of losses due to excess of sales of prescription medicines at special rates or penalties for declining the special rates are eliminated, the sales are fully recompensed.

The solution features automated generation of standard medication names based on pharmaceutical form, dosage, presentation, and so on. The solution’s medication naming system is integrated with medication reference data provided by the Mongolian Ministry of Public Health.

The employees responsible for sales have quick access to medication descriptions, characteristics, and counterindications. This led to the increase of the customer service quality and, in turn, increase of the customer loyalty.

The information system created by Domino Soft offers unified control over the holding's retail and wholesale center chains, introducing real-time monitoring and management capabilities.

The company is planning to open new warehouses and launch a client-oriented Internet service, which will include online interaction with 1C:Trade Management 8.

Bayarjargal Gungaa, the head of Asia Pharma Ltd., made a comment on the project's first results: "Based on 1C:Enterprise 8, the system greatly facilitates my work, eliminating a lot of routine operations. This allows me to dedicate more time to new business development. Successful deployment of the system opened up new, previously unavailable, paths for my company's evolution."
