The Umi Sushi restaurant strengthened its registration processes together with FirstBIT using 1C:Enterprise

Specialists of the First BIT Company successfully finished the project to automate administrative and operational processes at Umi Sushi restaurant using application developed based on 1C:Enterprise. The Umi Sushi restaurant was open in Dubai in 2007. Now it is a restaurant of Japanese cuisine where customers are served traditional national dishes. One of the main principles of the restaurant is always fresh seafood. Umi Sushi can offer lunches, dinners and also hosts special occasion festive events and banquets.

Rapid growth and development of the restaurant forced the management into improvement of internal processes. The first item of business was to strengthen the most important part of any company – the tracking and accounting system. Given all possible options the choice was made to automate, and they needed to choose a suitable software solution. The search for the right solution was based on specific parameters: the program must be compatible to public catering record and account system, easy to set up, and be clear for employees without additional training.

The analysis of software solutions which were represented in the market, revealed a suitable system from FirstBIT ERP, which answered the above-mentioned criteria and needs. Installation of the solution was delegated to the developers of the system - methodologists and programmers at FirstBIT company.

Implementation of the project took only 2 weeks. During system setup, the restaurant worked in its standard mode. Adaptation of employees to the system took a short period of time, thanks to the bilingual interface that FirstBIT ERP developed based on 1C:Enterprise. The interface enabled employees to use both Russian and English for work.

Thanks to FirstBIT ERP, Umi Sushi’s tracking and accounting system has became significantly simpler for end users. Now all data is available for the analysis and further planning at any time, in addition, information on the current situation of the restaurant is more transparent to management.
