Digitel company exists on market since 1996. and mostly we are producer company. Starting from 2012 our core business are developement, producing and selling of electrical outlet for furniture, first of all office and then home furniture, lately more and more. Of course, we sell the most in Serbia individually, then in Russia, and then in the European Union, but also in the Middle East, some African countries.
Since 2012, we have been engaged in the development, production and sale of sockets used in furniture. It is a narrow product niche that has found its application, first of all in office furniture, and more and more in home furniture as well. Due to the development of modern means of communication and others gadgets that are used both in homes and in business there is a growing need for electrical appliances. And people don't want to stray too far from their electrical devices, so it is necessary that the sockets are as close as possible to the users themselves.
The space we use is that one small niche within the socket manufacturers, where we are applied in the furniture itself. The markets on which we operate are of course the largest in Serbia, behind Serbia then Russia, and after the European Union, but also the Middle East some African countries etc. We work with the European Union the most Italy, Poland, Germany etc.
Well, we have been cooperating with the company Docus in the area for a long time solutions, conducting business, in fact, the entire business of our company. When they presented us with 1C ERP, it took us a short time to decide on that solution. Given that it is an advanced solution according to what we have seen so far which can meet much greater demands in the future than we have now. But I think we have very high requirements compared to similar companies in our field. Since we are engaged in production, we operate in different markets, we monitor different costs. We have big requirements for production planning, cash flow planning and so on. At the very beginning of the implementation, 1C:ERP was a better system than we assumed so far...
Of the modules in 1C:ERP, we use the most production planning and CRM. Monitoring of the sale itself from the opportunity to the realization of the sale It is a living thing in which we continue to develop. In cooperation with our friends from Docus, we learn more and more things every day to use and develop ourselves. We have a colleague in the company who and is designated for that communication, and who is well versed in the processes of the 1C:ERP system.
