The cloud system on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform helps the Moscow Government utilize all the opportunities of the new information age.
Like any modern metropolis, Moscow is a living, daily changing entity, requiring the active efforts of a large group of people to sustain. But how do you coordinate those efforts and determine how to improve the life of such a huge city? The Department of Information Technology, thanks to our software products, helps Moscow move forward.
One of those products is a unique accounting solution called a Universal Automated Budgetary Accounting System or, simply put, a cloud accounting suite. The introduction of the system made it possible to increase labor productivity due to the end-to-end automation of the financial and economic activities of the city's state institutions and, as a result, provide a new level of transparency in the use of budget funds.
The project was launched in 2012, and it currently encompasses more than two and a half thousand (2500) institutions in Moscow. These are educational organizations, community centers, theaters, museums, sports schools and clubs, public utility institutions, metropolitan prefectures, district councils, and authorities' offices. The cloud system built on 1C:Enterprise 8 platform can be accessed 24/7 via the Internet. There is also a single support service for users whose number exceeds forty thousand (40,000).
The 1C:Enterprise 8 unified cloud system deployed in the Moscow Department of Information Technologies increased management efficiency and improved data quality control, and in fact, serves as an integrated regional management system. The system covers accounting, procurement, contracts, planning, vehicle safety inspection, pharmaceutical track and trace system, as well as state-run canteens reporting. The introduction of cloud accounting made it possible to save more than 1 billion rubles a year, reduce paper document workflow by 2 times, calculate the monthly salary of approximately six hundred thousand (600,000) employees, and integrate the system with the services of authorized bodies, including the Federal Tax Service, the Pension Fund, the Social Insurance Fund and others. Effective management and prompt generation of analytical reports have become possible due to data availability in real-time.
The cloud system on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform helps the Moscow Government utilize all the opportunities of the new information age.
