Hi
I'm trying to learn 1c ... and i have a task to do and I want someone to help me.

the task is :

make a report that save the changes of a catalog and who is the user who changed it "it's like a history log for a catalog".

I'm really lost right now and i don't know where to start.

if someone could help or give me a hint i'll be so thankful.

You can use the event log for that, set filter by the object that you are interested in and find all actions that was performed on it.
See 1C:Subsystems library.
