Dumping and restoring configuration files

Dumping and restoring configuration files are intended for dumping configurations (including modules, templates, access rights, online help topics, and images) to a set of files in a specified directory and for restoring configurations from a set of dump files.

Configuration objects and most of the configuration data are dumped to XML files. 1C:Enterprise script modules and text documents are dumped to text files with .txt extensions. Configuration images are dumped to graphics files of the appropriate format. Online help is dumped to HTML files.

Since many of the dump files have XML format, they can be processed and analyzed both manually or using any appropriate software.

Dumping and restoring configurations are also supported in Designer batch mode.
