Functional options

Functional options are one of the development tools. They define whether specific functionality is available in a configuration, based on the needs of the company where the configuration is deployed.

The following configuration objects describe functional options:

  • Functional option
Configuration objects and their attributes can be linked to functional options included in the applied solution. For example, the Multicurrency functional option can include the Currency and Currency exchange rate attributes of the Purchase order document. Enabling or disabling the functional option in 1C:Enterprise mode adds or removes the Currency and Currency exchange rates fields to or from all of the document forms.

  • Functional option parameters
Functional options can have parameters. A parameter value selected in a form can affect the form behavior. For example, the Multicurrency functional option can have a Company parameter. Depending on the company selected in a form, the Currency field is available or not available.
