Web Servers view

Use this view to register the web servers installed on your computer in EDT. When you start EDT for the first time, it searches your computer for installed web servers and adds them to the view. It detects Apache web servers automatically only if they are installed using the setup program (on Windows) or from a repository using a package manager (on Linux). If you install an Apache web server by unpacking an archive to a directory on your computer, EDT will be unable to find it. If the search did not find a web server, you can add it manually. In addition to that, you can publish mobile applications to the web-server embedded in EDT. For information about the embedded server settings, see Embedded web server.

You can publish Infobases to web servers registered in EDT (right-click a web server and click Publish Configuration).

For each registered web server, you can view the configurations published to the server (provided that they were published using EDT).
